Indemnity Provision and Media Release

All workshop participants are required to provide an indemnity provision and media release prior to commencing their first workshop with us. Unless notified, we consider this release ongoing and relevant to all future workshops.

To indicate your release, please read the following and then select your preferred answer on our subscription form.

Indemnity Provision and Media Release

I agree (participants under 18 years of age must obtain the signature of a parent or guardian):

1.       That Blue Mountains Drama accepts no responsibility or liability for any injury sustained by the participant in the normal course of instruction.

2.       To authorise Blue Mountains Drama to obtain emergency medical treatment for any injuries sustained by the participant, howsoever caused, whenever Blue Mountains Drama, at its discretion, sees fit.

3.       To indemnify Blue Mountains Drama for any costs incurred in obtaining such medical treatment for the participant.

4.       To advise Blue Mountains Drama of any special medical condition or allergies the participant may have.

5.       To authorise Blue Mountains Drama to use reproductions of the participant’s image in photographs/videos for advertising purposes.

Terms and Conditions

Please take note of our terms and conditions…

Term workshops:
• Full payment is due before the first week of term, unless otherwise negotiated.
• Payment is by the term and will not be refunded for missed sessions.

Holiday workshops:
• A 50% deposit is required to secure your place in a workshop.
• Full payment is due before the first day of the workshop.
• 25% cancellation fee will be charged if cancellation is made within one week of workshop commencing.
• 50% cancellation fee will be charged if cancellation is made within 2 days of workshop commencing.

General:
• Blue Mountains Drama requires each workshop participant provides an indemnity provision and media release prior to the commencement of their first workshop. See above.

• Blue Mountains Drama reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone who poses a disciplinary problem to our teaching artists.

• Blue Mountains Drama reserves the right to cancel workshops if we do not achieve a sustainable number of enrolments. You will be provided with alternative options or a refund should this be the case.

• Blue Mountains Drama does not accept responsibility for personal property left at a venue.

• Blue Mountains Drama reserves the right to make last minute teaching artist substitutions.

• Your personal information will be stored in accordance with current privacy legislations.
